Hike the snowy trail behind Basswood Elementary as you read or listen to the favorite winter story Over and Under by Kate Messner! All Osseo Area Schools families, staff and neighbors are invited to join this outdoor experience from Feb. 25 to 28. The hours are 3:30 p.m. to dusk on Thursday and Friday and dawn to dusk on Saturday and Sunday.
The Trail Tales path begins by the blue playground and routes through the Basswood Elementary Nature Center. The pages of the book will be enlarged and posted on signage along the trail; if you would rather listen to the story, a posted QR code will launch an audio version on a smartphone.
The trail is not lit, so please plan accordingly. Please observe social distancing on the trail and plan for a snowy walk!
